Printing stickers at home, the short version
- Paper: matte or glossy full-sheet sticker paper for indoor use; printable vinyl plus a clear laminate for anything that gets wet. See the sticker paper guide.
- Printer settings: choose the paper type your sticker paper recommends (often “Glossy photo” or “Matte photo”) and the highest quality. Do a plain-paper test first and measure one sticker with a ruler.
- Cutting: scissors or a craft knife for simple shapes; a circle punch for rounds; a Cricut or Silhouette for die-cuts. Read how to make stickers with Cricut.
Questions people ask
How do I print a sheet of stickers at home?
Make or upload your design, pick the paper size and gap, then download the sheet PNG or press Print. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” / 100% scale (not “Fit to page”) so the stickers come out at the right size.
How many 2 inch stickers fit on a page?
With 0.4 inch margins and a 0.125 inch gap, 16 two-inch stickers fit on a US Letter page (4 × 4) and 16 on A4. The sheet maker counts it for your exact size and gap.
What gap should I leave between stickers?
For scissors or a craft knife, 1/8 inch (3 mm) is plenty. For die-cut stickers with a white border you can go down to 1/16 inch because the border already gives the blade room.
Can I use this for Cricut Print Then Cut?
Yes. Switch on Cricut mode: the layout is limited to the 6.75 × 9.25 inch Print Then Cut area. Download the PNG, upload it to Design Space as a print-then-cut image, and Cricut adds its own registration marks.
