Tips that make it print well
- A 3 inch die-cut is the sweet spot: large enough to read across a table, small enough to share the lid.
- Keep the white border 2–4 mm wide. Thinner borders are hard for cutters to follow, and thicker ones look clumsy.
- Avoid thin spikes and gaps narrower than about 1.5 mm. The die-cut smooths them into a blob, and they catch and peel.
- Matte or holographic vinyl with a laminate survives backpacks; paper stickers scuff within days.

What size are laptop stickers?
Most laptop stickers are 2 to 4 inches on their longest side, with 3 inches being the most common. A 13 inch laptop lid is roughly 12 × 8.5 inches, so there is room for several.
Will a sticker damage my laptop?
Quality vinyl stickers with removable adhesive peel off cleanly; leftover residue comes off with a little isopropyl alcohol. Avoid covering vents.
