Tips that make it print well
- Keep stickers under about 3 inches wide on a bottle. Wider flat stickers wrinkle on the curve.
- Use waterproof vinyl with a laminate. Printable vinyl without laminate smears when wet.
- Stick them on a clean, dry, room-temperature bottle, press from the centre out, and wait 24 hours before washing.
- Hand-wash stickered bottles; even “dishwasher-safe” vinyl lasts longer out of the dishwasher.

What size sticker fits a water bottle?
For a typical 32 oz bottle (about 3.5 inches across), stickers from 2 to 3 inches wide sit flat without wrinkling.
Are home-printed stickers waterproof?
Only if you print on waterproof inkjet vinyl and add a clear self-adhesive laminate. Pigment inks resist water better than dye inks.
Can stickers go in the dishwasher?
Professionally printed, laminated vinyl often survives top-rack cycles, but heat and detergent shorten any sticker’s life. Hand-washing is safest.
